A Lifelong Calling to Serve
Born and raised in New Jersey alongside my five siblings, I have always had a heart for nurturing others. Today, I still call Monmouth County home, where I share life with my beloved partner, Joe. I’m the proud mother of two grown daughters, a bonus mom to two wonderful sons, and a devoted Nonna to four delightful grandchildren.
After a fulfilling 25-year career in public service, I felt a deep calling to follow my passion—supporting women during one of the most sacred transitions in life: becoming a mother. With a deep respect for every birth story, I embraced my new journey as a professional doula.
My Training and Inspiration
My doula journey began with formal training through DONA International under the guidance of Debra Pascali-Bonaro, the renowned Director of Orgasmic Birth. I further honed my skills with Community Doulas of South Jersey, trained by the trailblazing team of Ronsha Dickerson and Jodi Green. Their knowledge and mentorship laid the foundation for my compassionate, culturally aware, and evidence-based approach to care.
Today, I continue to serve as a volunteer birth doula at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey, offering families care through the esteemed Jaffe Family Women’s Care Center.
